The Autumn/Winter 2017 Campaign with Kojey Radical
With a strong story of identity, peaceful protest against the status quo and equality that runs through the Northskull Autumn/Winter 2017 "Rise" collection, we collaborated with spoken word artist Kojey Radical to distill the message in a video featuring the latest jewellery designs. Reciting a poem written especially for this campaign that alludes to the empowering statements that decorate a number of pieces in the collection such as the Woto Necklace, the video has an upbeat energy that brings the jewellery and accessories to life.
Setting the scene in the city of London where Northskull is based and is also the fashion capital that is celebrated for its creativity, Kojey is styled with several bold designs that add an extra dimension to his outfit. Using polished accessories as symbols of unity through unspoken codes, the video is tinged with a positive sentiment that encourage the addition of striking embellishments to modern dressing for a fresh new look with Northskull.

Northskull Revolution by Kojey Radical
A crown sits on my Northskull and
I stay dressed for a revolution that will not be televised.
Adorned form head to toe in self-belief watching future dreams
Turn to London city skylines.
I mean we all know what pressure makes,
And if we don’t I can demonstrate.
The apparel became more apparent with decoration
not material made, we are made of what we make
So my hands are an exhibition of strength, and my crown
An indication of fate.
A valiant stride through invisible street confinements….
A coded language, a nod exchanged in silence I
Pass by critics like minutes.
I know my borders like I like I know my limits.
And I wonder exactly when they stopped existing.
The fearful have been replaced by the curious so
I stay dressed for a revolution that will never be televised.
